As we at Plank further involve ourselves with green building construction projects, we start off our New Year working on a project that is being built LEED^TM Certified Silver.  Currently we’re constructing a new 36,000SF manufacturing, and Research and Design office for a new client, Albatros North America in Ballston Spa, New York.  A leader in the Railway & Aircraft Material Industry, Albatros, a Spanish owned company, has gained a worldwide reputation of specialized services in the Railway Industry and a supplier of Solar Converters.  We are proud to participate in the design and construction of a new energy efficient facility for a company who shares our commitment to the renewable energy market.  The project is estimated to be completed in July of 2011, with a total investment of over $3 million.
